morningbroadway replied to your post: what were your top three films of 2011?? Oh man, Incendies was phenomenal. Easily one of the best films I’ve sene in ages. I like Florian, have you seen Kaikohe Demolition or Land of the Long White Cloud? Very funny. I saw Land of the Long White Cloud at the festival year before last, and I was going to see Kaikohe Demolition at the Film Archive but I think...

Does anyone know of any good poems/short stories around the theme of obsession? My sister is doing a research project and she needs more text examples and I’m too lazy to google.

I love freeze dried vegetables. Like the little things you get in instant noodles, and they’re totally beyond recognition, like they have no similarity at all to their original incarnation, they’re just these chewy, spongy, green and white and yellow and orange cubes with no discernible flavour. idk, they just seem kind of fun.

nigellaismyqueen replied to your post: Is anyone doing 200-level papers at Massey This girl who used to be in my year called Phil Goff a Communist over Facebook so I called her an idiot and she got pissed off at me for some bizarre reason. Turns out she’s doing political science. I love when people dismiss the beliefs/policies of others by trying to represent them as part of an extremist group in...

Is anyone doing 200-level papers at Massey this...
I need someone to roll my eyes at when these two dropkicks from my classes last year say something idiotic. Which is essentially when they say anything at all. Real talk though, one of them didn’t know the difference between punctuality and punctuation, and the other blames the world’s problems on welfare recipients. She was in my media class and when we would go through the paper and...

monstreux replied to your post: o  m  g second semester  wtf how is this possible??? you only have two modules? I’m doing two by distance that semester so still plenty of work, just very open, which is good cos I’ll have tons of flexibility for when I’m available to work etc., and fit my extracurriculars around that.
